THREE of the stars of the hit US sitcom The Big Bang Theory have agreed new contracts which will net them $1m each per episode.
The big money deals were signed by Kaley Cuoco, Jim Parsons, and Johnny Galecki and will last for three years, the entertainment site Deadline reported.
The new contracts with the show’s producer Warner Bros TV will cover seasons eight to ten of the top show and are thought to triple the stars current salaries.
It will put them in the same earning bracket as the stars of classic sitcom Friends, who were making a million each per episode in the show’s last two years.
Deadline reported that the terms of the deal would see the actors get other perks including a greater share in ownership of the show, signing bonuses, production deals and advances.
Two other stars of the show, Melissa Rauch and Mayim Bialik, have already negotiated their contracts, with original cast members Simon Helberg and Kunal Nayyar still to agree new deals ahead of Season Eight.
